Research Involvement
FAMRI announces two studies which involve participation by non-smoking flight attendants who experienced occupational second hand smoke exposure and are at risk for diseases related to that exposure.
FAMRI’s Center of Excellence at University of California, San Francisco, conducts clinical evaluations and cardiopulmonary testing. The contact information for enrollment is by phone: 1-800-767-6906; e-mail: famri@ucsfmedctr.org or through the Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education website.
The FAMRI-IELCAP initiative at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center is accepting enrollment for appointments for screening of diseases caused by exposure to second hand smoke in the work environment, particularly by non-smoking flight attendants.
