Grant Application Deadlines

This year FAMRI will accept applications for the Clinical Innovator Award and the Young Clinical Scientist Award. The deadline for full proposal submission is 5 PM Eastern time September 11, 2009. An on-line submission link is available on the Current & Upcoming Awards page. The subject matter of applications is limited to the effect of second hand tobacco smoke on respiratory diseases. The only proposals that will be considered will deal with the following topic areas:

Chronic sinusitis
Cilia abnormalities
Chronic bronchitis
COPD/emphysema
Asthma/allergies.

Clinical and translational research in the following areas will be considered:

Studies on the etiology and pathogenesis of tobacco-caused respiratory diseases in humans

Therapeutic interventions

Clinical trials
